The top videos will be selected by the judging panel from the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and announced on its Twitter account @MoCCaEUAE. Come back to see if your video made the cut.

Legalities

To enter the competition, you need to comply with the following legalities:

  1. You can’t use someone else's video, but you can use stock footage or use existing footage if the original owner is mentioned.

  2. If you want to use someone else's music, you need to have their written permission. There are some great sites online with "license-free" music clips that you CAN use.

  3. You must get written agreements from anyone who appears in your video.

  4. You give us rights to your entry submission - because if it's good we'll want to share it with others!

  5. Your video must be appropriate - no use of profanities, nudity, or violence.

  6. Your video must be free of any content that is inappropriate or insensitive to religion, race, gender, ethnicity, or nationality.

  7. The winner is expected to join the Sustainability visits set out above and arranged by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment.

  8. The winner must provide a post-trip summary and share snippets of his/her experience on his/her social media platforms using #ItAffectsYou and tagging @MoCCaEUAE and @GloballyGreat.
